Wishing You Were Here!

This was definitely not the week for an outdoor table, so I put this tablescape together in the comfort of my air-conditioned home! But, I did use my outdoor dishes. The set my sister gave me as a wedding gift last year. I used them in my very first EVER tablescape! You can see them here. The only thing I would add (if I could) would be Robin and her husband, in person, sitting at this table!

I hope you enjoy!

Okay, real or fake in my centerpiece? Answer at the end.

The go-with-everything glasses from Dollar Tree.

Now, time for some added ambience!

Answer: Both! The greenery is from my yard
and the blossoms and berries are faux!

Floral plates and flatware are from my sister, Robin
Glass vase, votives, and napkins from Ross
Napkin rings from a thrift store
Glassware from Dollar Tree
Chargers from Z Galleries
Bowls from Big Lots

VERY well done! In these hard economic times, I have taken to mixing the two whenever my wallet is a little light. As long as they're good quality fauxs like the ones you have here, I say, "Go for it!" This is beautifully done, Elaine. I just know Robin is tickled pink that you used these for this great tablescape! It just makes my heart go pitter-patter how close you guys are!

Well this one is definitely a winner be it inside or out. Love the look of the plates set on point with the woven chargers. Touch of red with the napkin rings and the bouquet of flowers are the perfect compliments.

Beautiful table Elaine, I always look forward to see what you are creating for us. Good colors in the plates and the candles look beautiful shining through the green glasses. I don't have much luck at the thrift shop and you found the red napkin rings. Perfect addition to the table. The centerpiece is just striking and I did guess the greenery was real. Thanks.

I really like what you did with the stacking the plates and the chargers really set them off. They had them again at Bed, Bath and Beyond this summer so if you need more. There may have been other pieces too. I wish we could be in Colorado too but not while you're having your bathroom remodeled! Ha!
