Today will be the 53rd day at or above 90 for the Denver area. It's been the hottest June and July on record, and since we aren't getting a break in the weather, I need to create my own cold front.
I went back into the Creating Wonderful Spaces archives, and I am featuring the coolest of my past tablescapes.
I hope it gives you a chill!
Now, at this point, I lit the candles. But, in today's post, I am keeping it cool. If you want to see the whole post, including the candlelight photos, you will find it here.
All dishes, the bowls, napkins, and candlesticks are from thrift stores
Waterford crystal belongs to Mr. Wonderful
Chargers from Bed Bath & Beyond
I've had the flatware for years
Placemats from Z Galleries
I made the napkin rings
I decided to add a few more ways to cool off your table!
Thanks for visiting and stay cool!

I LOVE it!! This table is really, really nice! I love the crystal salad plates, placemats, napkin rings...heck, everything!!
Thanks for helping me cool off...where I live in Alabama we've had storms, muggy 75-90% humidity and 98+ degree days. I needed this tablescape to help me escape!
Have a great day!!
Summer on the rocks indeed! It is so hot and humid here I'm surprised your tablescape isn't melting as I look at it :) I love all your icy elements! Stay cool!
Omg.. I've cooled off for sure.. I love that icy landscape of a table!!! It's absolutely magical. Loving the ice cycles hanging from the centerpiece. The china is really pretty and is perfect for this setting.. Love the ice sculptures too. xo marlis

Love the cool escape with your tablescape! We had rain and so off to shop for antiques since it was cool and rainy! In June and July, we went to Oregon and came back through Denver where I shopped the Antique Row on Broadway. Golden is my favorite town to visit in the Denver area. We always enjoy visiting your area! Pam
Beautiful table and it DID cool me down!
That was delightful, thank you!!! This has been the hottest summer on record for us, and I can't wait for Fall to roll in!!!

Hi Elaine! This is stunning, pretty cool, icy and so elegant. Love it!...Christine
Very refreshing. It helped take down the temp here in the desert. It was 108 here today. Looking forward to fall with you.
Your table does give the feeling of nice cold ice...in a good way, too! love the place mats.
