Lazy Hazy Summer!

Ah, the lazy hazy days of summer.  Wildfires contributed to the hazy, but the lazy was all me!

Of course, we did travel to exotic places...

...but only in our minds.

Thankfully, it takes no energy to dream...

We saved on traveling and splurged on a hammock (for two)!

Tall and frosty mojitos--blending lime, mint and rum in the most delightful way. Notice the cigar bands on the glasses. Mojitos originated in Cuba.

Peach mango salsa and chips share a tray with fresh fruit.

The napkins add spicy color to our already sizzling table.

Sunflowers. What could be more perfect?

Fresh mozzarella cubes, grape tomatoes, and a sprinkling of fresh basil.

Vase, napkins and rings, and wonderful  2 piece serving set came from Goodwill
Tablecloth and bird dish were purchased at Ross
Mojito glasses came from beveragefactory.com
Fabulous faux sunflowers came from Michaels
Outdoor pillows came from Lowes

Love the outdoor setting with the great hammock so near. The luxury of a travel magazine and then the food to share. The mojitos sound delicious but the fruit tray and salsa looks so tempting. My favorite is the striped tablecloth just perfect for a summer day!

Thanks, pam

What a perfect way to spend a summer afternoon, and the snack tray is just an arms length away from that beautiful hammock.

I'm going to check out the mojito glasses at Beverage Factory. That is my signature beverage for summer. LOL

I am thinking you had the best vacation. No frisky pat downs at the airport, no pickpockets at your destination, not living out of a suitcase! You knew I'd have to have those mojito glasses, thanks for the info on them. Your setting just looks fabulous! xo marlis
