Seeing Spots!

So far, I have done all my tablescapes on round tables. Today, we go into my kitchen, where I have a rectangular pub table. You will see how appropriate my kitchen is for this one!

If you are expecting pumpkins, I can truthfully say there are NO pumpkins on my table. I tried to create a warm, fun, casual table. So, where do the spots come in? You will see.

Yes, you have good eyes--here are the spots! I bought three pitchers at once. The lady in front of me thought I collected them! Besides the pitcher I found at Goodwill, the plates from Ross have spots on them!

Straw mats from World Market, bowls from Ross, leaf plates from Goodwill.

These are my everyday glasses from Bed Bath & Beyond. Napkins from Ross.

I found this fun flatware at Burlington Coat Factory!

These potted trees came from JoAnn's and I tucked real flowers from our garden in for color!

One of my favorite features of our kitchen is the skylight. I could photograph this without any artificial light!

I only paid $3 for this sweet little pitcher. It will certainly show up on my Thanksgiving table!

Did you "spot" the pumpkin? I didn't say there wouldn't be one on the windowsill!

There is always one guest who shows up early...

I hope you enjoyed seeing spots! Thank you to Susan from Between Naps On The Porch for hosting another wonderful Tablescape Thursday! Next week, I'm sure it's back to a round table again!

Be sure to check out my sister's blog. She's been very excited about this tablescape, so I'm sure it's something special. You can see it at Robin Flies South...

It's my goal every week to visit all the tablescapes. If I did not leave a comment, it's because I tried and failed. If you get twelve identical comments from me, I apologize.   It's because I thought I failed but had actually succeeded (twelve times).

Become a follower and I will definitely reciprocate! Oh heck, I'll follow you anyway. :)

I didn't even know your kitchen was painted that color. I really do need to visit! I love this table. Of course I have those glasses and chargers. Great dishes from Ross and my favorite is the leaf plates. Was Eddie not invited?

Hi Elaine!
Love the table, great colors for this season! Pitcher is cute, what a deal! I do round every week , have to do one in the dining room soon, people are probably sick of my round breakfast nook table.
That is great you have the natural light, makes pic taking so much better! We have a wrap around porch, which I love, but it makes it dark for pics! I need a studio!:)

Hi, Elaine! This really is a warm and cozy table you've created for fall...even without the obligatory pumpkins and gourds! Great score on the pitcher!!! LOVE those deep bowls. Perfect for chili or soup on the cool days ahead. I'll fly on over to Robin's nest to see what she has cookin'. Have a great weekend!

Such a pretty tablescape! I love how used the beautiful fall colors in the china and linens instead of the usual fall decor. The pitcher with the dots and the acorn detail is such a darling and works beautifully in your tablescape and I loved the gorgeous colors in your tablecloth. The pretty leaf shaped plate looks wonderful with the orange bowls from Ross. Love the wall color and the metal wall art. Thanks for stopping by and leaving me such a sweet note. Happy to follow you and would love to see you doing the same. Thanks again! Have a wonderful weekend!~Poppy
