Sister Act II-Elaine

It's time for Sister Act II! My sister, Robin, and I used the same animal print placemats as inspiration for this week's tablescape. How similar and how different will they be? Let's find out!

I hope you enjoy!

There was no doubt I would set this table in my kitchen. Even though the day was overcast, the skylight always provides good lighting!

I borrowed this wall sconce from my living room, and replaced the aqua glass with clear glass.

The animal print dishes came from Ross, and the square Pottery Barn plates came from Goodwill.

I found this pair of candleholders at Goodwill and knew they would be perfect. I did give the masks a few coats of gold paint.

I decided to do ivory on ivory with my napkins and rings, because there is already so much pattern and contrast going on. The rings were on clearance at Tuesday Morning.

The centerpiece and the goblets also came from Goodwill.

I couldn't wait to light the candles!

Thank you so much for visiting! I know my sister and I have a lot of fun doing these Sister Acts, and I'm sure there will be more in the future!

I will be joining:

Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch

Open House Party Thursday at No Minimalist Here

Let's Dish at Cuisine Kathleen

Wow Us Wednesday at Savvy Southern Style

What's It Wednesday at Ivy & Elephants

Seasonal Sundays at The Tablescaper

Thrifty Things Friday at The Thrifty Groove

Check out my sister's Act II at Robin Flies South...

If you missed Sister Act I, you will find it here!

Hi Elaine!
I love what you did! I'm always attracted to animal prints! I'm surprised I don't own a lot of it!
I like that stemware a lot too- it has a nice body on it! Woohoo!! LOL
I like your center arrangement it goes perfectly with this theme and the masks are cool on the candleholders! I guess I better check your sister's out too!

Those dishes look great on the placemats and great buys at the GW especially those glasses (so pretty!). I would say our tables are pretty similiar. Thanks again for giving me the placemats. I know I will use them in real life too!

I seriously wish I could find great buys like you do at Goodwill! That stemware is absolutely gorgeous, and the candle holders are perfect for this tablescape...especially with your gold treatment! Most everything in the thrift stores I go to is trash. I hit several kinds of thrift stores in lots of different areas in an effort to find good stuff, but to no avail. I think I have hit the jackpot only 3 times. :-( This is a really cool looking table, and it's perfect for this warm weather! I'm off to visit your sis!

Great tablescape you have created from the placemats. Love the animal print and the goblets. Good finds at GW too. OK, I've going over to Robins to see her version. Cute idea for the Sister Act.

I just came from your sister's place. I can't believe how similar your tastes are yet how unique each table it. Let me say again how much I love this cute idea!

As for your table, I love it. My favorite part is the candlestick with the mask. Who would have thought you could find something so perfect at GW!

I am not a fan of animal prints, but this is wonderful! I love all your finds! The goblets are great and will go with so many Fall scapes! You put it all together beautifully, and the centerpiece is perfect for this table. I can't wait to see Robin's , but I have to go in order or I will get mixed up!
Great job and thanks for linking to Let's Dish!

You've created a beautiful, sophisticated tables cape. You found some amazing things at Good Will. Every time that I go to ours, it's absolutely hideous. Your town must have a better brand of donation contributors! Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

This is absolutely beautiful. I love all elements you use in this settings. The earthy tones and the natural elements make the whole table so warm and welcoming.

Sister Act. How fun. I think you should do this as often as you can. I enjoyed viewing you and your sisters tables using the animal print. I love animal print anything and have some leopard print in my decor. I thought it was particularly interesting that you both have the same Terra cotta colored rooms for your setting. I can tell you are truly sisters when you have the same paint colors in your homes. Ha
