Take Your Thyme!

No Easter table for me! I really don't have any Easter decorations (lost them in one of my many moves!) but, I have really enjoyed seeing what all the other tablescapers have done for the holiday.

This week, I caught the gardening bug! Our herb garden is coming to life, and I thought I would celebrate with an herb themed table. I would have loved to set a table outside, but we had snow on Monday! So, my kitchen had to do.

I hope you enjoy!

These plates came from a thrift store and have a different herb on each one. I loved doing another green tablescape!

I fell in love with this petite bird bath. I placed it on an upside down flower pot to raise it up.

Basil is probably my favorite herb. The smell reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen!

I was so excited to find this flatware on clearance at SteinMart. I think it was because the box was ripped open. Sure, I'll take a torn box to save $20!

Because my tablescape is indoors, I decided to make napkins which would add a touch of elegance.

Thanks for stopping by! Oh wait...what's this?

Snow?!??!! Oh, heavens to Betsy! That's awful! I hope none of that white stuff makes its way here!!! We had a record high of 90 a few days ago, but have since dropped back into the upper 50s during the day. Easter Sunday is expected to be bright & sunshiny, with a high around 68. Perfect! I hope you get something similar!!! Beautiful table! I love the green, and you did some really creative things here. The birdbath on the upturned pot was cool in and of itself, but when you added the floating candles for an evening meal, it became special all over again! I think this actually is a great Spring/Easter table because bunnies like to hang out in herb gardens...eating all your stuff!!! The two clusters of thyme really look good here and add both color & texture. Very, very pretty! Great napkins, too!!! Have a Happy Easter!!!

I can almost smell the basil! Such a pretty table (those green plates look familiar!). Great deal on the flatware (some of the bamboo ones look too plasticy-is that a word?). My favorite part is the floating candles in the bird bath that you assembled!

Basil is my favorite herb also, and I love those herb plates.

I glanced at your side bar and see that you take in rescues. Thank you for that!

Love the bird bath idea for a centerpiece mixed with the herb pots. I could totally see this used for a natural Easter tablescape...it would be lovely! Thanks for linking up to Centerpiece Wednesday and sharing yoru fun ideas.

Thinking of a spring table and the special herb plates are the perfect way to begin. The sweet birds in the bird bath is my favorite. The floating candles make your table shine. Happy tea party! Pam
