Walking On Sunshine!

If you've never been to Colorado, you are missing out on two things--crystal clear blue skies and incredible sunshine. We have had an entire week of both, and the weather is my inspiration for this week's tablescape.

All the dishes and the stemware came from Goodwill. I like how the design on the flatware mimics the swirls on the blue plates. The placemats are from Ross.

I bought this ceramic container (it has a lid) at Sam's years ago. I don't even remember what it was filled with because I bought it for the container. During the winter I keep it filled with biscotti. This time I filled it with sunshine, in the form of big yellow blossoms!

I made the floral napkins and painted the napkin rings white (they had a funky black and white pattern).

I didn't have yellow candles, so I used the lemons painted on the container as my inspiration. They are sitting on a bed of glass beads.

I was fascinated by the air bubbles in these goblets!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
I hope your week is full of sunshine, too!

I will be joining:

Lovely place settings and napkins and I loved your centerpiece! The floral arrangement is gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful table with us today!

REALLY cute use of the lemons with the candlesticks!!! Very imaginative, and the color is gorgeous. Candles would have been great, but this is much more fun! You got some really terrific Goodwill buys, you lucky woman! Everything looks great together, and the centerpiece is really pretty. Very nice!!! I hope you have lots more days of blue skies and sunshine! Have a great weekend!

So you have beautiful clear skies and bright sunshine AND a fabulous GW???!! Not fair! :) I can't believe you found those beautiful dishes and goblets there! Your table is so fresh and pretty. And the first thing I noticed was the lemon in the candle holder...and here it was due to necessity--very creative...it adds a nice pop of color higher than the dishes.javascript:void(0)

You can tell I've had company if I'm just getting around to commenting. Beautiful combination of blue and yellow with just the right touch of lemons. It all started with that great centerpiece. You do have some great GW dishes too.
