Join me now as the morning sunlight
danced across my table!
I got the rooster plates and bowls years ago at Ross.
I found the large square plates, which still had the
Pottery Barn price tag of $12 per plate, at my local
Goodwill store for $12 for all four plates!
The chargers were on clearance at Z Gallerie.
I did add a little bit of spring with
these pretty white blossoms!
I tied the napkins from World Market
with some simple raffia.
These glasses are from Dollar Tree.
I love all the different shades of brown in these chargers.
I've been tablescaping now for six months, and enjoy it more and more each week. I'm so glad I listened to my sister and decided to join her. Thank you for letting me come into your home!

This is so nice! I love the rooster plates, the great deal on the PB plates but those chargers set the table! I have those Dollar Tree glasses in green and blue and I can't believe how pretty they are. Beautiful pictures with the sun streaming in too.

This is a table at which I would thoroughly enjoy being. Not only is it a delight, the colors on the table look terrific with your wall color.
Beautiful colors and textures! I love the plates and the chargers and the simplistic centerpiece idea just makes this whole tablescape! Please come link up to Centerpiece Wed and show off you ideas.

You are saying farewell to winter and I had to say, Hello - we just got blasted with a ton of snow!
I can't complain though as winter has been so mild here, but that generally means we are in for lots of snow late in the season!
I love all of your square shapes. I am just so attracted to square plates and bowls. The chargers are fabulous and add such a textural element. Truly a beautiful table for Spring.
The winter is definitely gone in your lovely tablescape. I love you sharing all your different sources for this table. The square china is lovely and I like how you angled the bowls. The green and white is perfect against the dark woven place mats. Happy Tea Party! Pam
This is a perfect transitional table from Winter to Spring. I'm with you on the Spring table: Winter can just go somehere else...ANYWHERE else other than in your own backyard! :-) Everything is so nicely put together here. The dishes and the stemware, the soft napkin with the strong raffia...all a great combination!
Love the raffia! Such a neat idea.
Hi Elaine,
I would love to have your green sallad and soup bowls. They are stunning. Absolutely, stunning!!!
Hope you have a great w/end.

Hi Elaine, I'm wondering if Dollar Tree still has those goblets, they are great! This is a happy table, and you scored on those Pottery Barn plates, great find! The roosters are adorable, and the flowers with the river rocks are perfect. I'm thinking Spring too, the temperature here in Va tomorrow is supposed to be 78, woohoo!!! I have to tell you, whenever I send you a comment, I have an urge to talk to a little girl lol! Your profile pic is just so sweet!!
Beautiful table! I love the colors, dishes, flowers, flatware, all of it!
What a great tablescape you are sharing and the raffia make a perfect napkin ring. Love the glasses too, I am making a trip to Dollar Tree to see if I can find them or other stemware in colors. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a message. I am already a follower.
Very serene and modern! The chargers are fabulous, and the vases of flowers are so pretty!
So the tablescaping is getting into your blood? Be careful, it is addictive, expensive, and fills every nook and cranny of your house! But, one could say the same for buying shoes! :)
First -- thanks so much for your visit and kindness. Now -- I do love the shades of green on your table....it does look like that first peep of spring green that we so enjoy. Add in a few roosters and some raffia and you've got a delightful setting.
